ABOUT LDA: This page has an excellent description of our organization as well as a delightful history of the past 20 years. There are links to “Covering Ground” newsletter and Board contact information. Also includes a list of past presidents.
JOIN: This page describes all of the benefits of membership as well as fees. There are links to “Covering Ground”, Membership Application, and Apply Now button.
FIND A PROFESSIONAL: This is where a visitor or member can search by Chicagoland region, company name, county, or member name, a ‘Green’ industry professional. This page serves as a tool in lieu of a hard copy Directory and is more up to date than the Directory. There are links to 2 articles about selecting design professionals. Also includes Renew Today button.
EVENTS: Educational and social events offered through the Landscape Design Association are described here. As a convenience to our membership, we include activities and events sponsored by 12 other landscape related organizations. There are also links to these organizations such as Chicago Botanic Garden, the Morton Arboretum, MELA, APLD, etc.
RESOURCES: The Resource page includes the following:
“Covering Ground” – Our full color newsletter is accessed online from several other pages as well. All members are encouraged to contribute articles/news on special projects to the newsletter. Also there is access to archived issues.
LinkedIn – Direct link to the LDA LinkedIn page. LinkedIn is a useful social network for our industry. It is an extension of our directory.
