Thank you for your interest in the . The purpose of our organization is to improve our skills in the design industry through continuing education, professional development programs and networking.
We hold meetings during the year, except for late spring and early summer. Our programs and workshops are on topics such as plant materials, hardscapes, design, technology, legal issues and other subjects that relate to the landscape industry. These meeting are held in locations throughout the metropolitan area.
In 2009 we are looking forward to an interactive design workshop, near north suburban garden walk and other great programs. LDA social events include a summer barbeque and winter party. Additional benefits of membership include a quarterly newsletter and annual membership directory.
In order to join, please download and print the membership application. Send your completed application and check to the address on the application form. (Please note that Associate Membership is only available to additional members of a firm if someone in the firm holds a full membership.)
The LDA membership year runs from January 1 through December 31, 2009. Membership dues are not prorated. Applications received from September through December 31, 2008 will apply to the upcoming year and will include a listing in the annual LDA membership directory. Members joining after January 1, 2009 will not be listed in the directory but will receive all other benefits including a listing on the LDA website. We encourage you to join within the next few months to receive all the benefits of membership.
